Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the iPioneer app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the app.

1. About the service

iPioneer is an independent app for personal organization of volunteer service hours, routine planning, monthly reports, and field service support features (such as a timer, Partner Session, and an AI assistant). iPioneer is not an official website, app or service of Jehovah's Witnesses and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, supervised by, or operated by the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society or any congregation, circuit overseer, or organizational entity. Information and suggestions generated by the app are for personal support only and do not replace official guidance received from your congregation.

2. Eligibility and account

To use iPioneer, you need to create an account with email and password, or sign in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. PRO subscription

Some iPioneer features are exclusive to a paid subscription ("iPioneer PRO"). By subscribing:

Billing is handled by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play, depending on your device, with automatic renewal until canceled.
Price and billing period (monthly/annual) are shown before purchase confirmation.
Cancellation must be done directly in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings — the app cannot process cancellations or refunds directly.
Refunds follow Apple's or Google's own policies; we do not have access to your payment data or control over refund processing.

4. Acceptable use

By using iPioneer, you agree not to:

Use the app for illegal or unauthorized purposes;
Attempt to access other users' accounts, third-party data, or system areas without authorization;
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app's source code, except as permitted by law;
Use the Partner Session or Field Companions feature to harass, deceive, or harm other users;
Overload or attempt to compromise the app's infrastructure (e.g. abusive automation, denial-of-service attacks).

5. AI-generated content

iPioneer uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to generate daily tips and letter templates as personal support. This content is generated automatically, may contain inaccuracies, and does not replace spiritual, pastoral guidance or any official publication. We recommend always confirming important information directly on jw.org or with those responsible in your congregation.

6. User content

You retain ownership of the data you enter into the app (hour logs, notes, Bible student names, etc.). By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store and process that data solely to provide the service to you.

7. Intellectual property

The "iPioneer" trademark, app design, icons and source code are owned by the iPioneer developer and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. No content from this app may be reproduced or commercially distributed without prior authorization.

8. Disclaimer

iPioneer is provided "as is", without warranties that it will be free of errors, interruptions, or unavailability. We do not guarantee the app will always be available or free of technical failures. We make every effort to keep logged data accurate, but you are responsible for reviewing your hour reports before submitting them officially.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the iPioneer developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the app, including data loss.

10. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time under Settings > Security > Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Use, with notice when possible.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use periodically. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil.
